My Philosophy
I believe in sincerity. That if you’re true to yourself and consistent with your words and actions, you’ll find and build a community of like minded people who appreciate you for who you actually are, rather than whatever act you’re putting on. So I don’t act. I don’t chase trends, clout, retweets, raids, follows, donations, or anything along those lines.
I simply do whatever it is I want to do, the exact same way I would as if I was hanging out with my closest friends (or even completely alone for that matter).
This often means I’m not “algorithmically favorable” and that’s just fine by me. I’d rather succeed sincerely than formulaically. If that makes any sense at all.
A bit about me?
You might expect someone born and raised in Northwest Florida to have a certain proclivity towards things like hunting, NASCAR, cheap beer, and overthrowing the government. But somehow I turned out okay. Not great, by any means. But solidly okay. Sort of like actually getting the sauce you asked for in the McDonald’s drive-thru: It’s not going to revolutionize your life, but your expectations are so understandably low that mediocrity seems like the gold standard.
In all seriousness: I’m a cybersecurity professional and IT enthusiast with a wide assortment of experience across a wide assortment of industries and hobbies. Whether it’s video games, or solar power; painting or programming; mental health or Italian food (and I’m convinced these two are linked) – odds are we’ve got something we can talk about. I’m also chocked full of useless trivia. So that’s fun.
